F.C. Copenhagen appoints Nils Koppen as the new head of scouting and recruitment

FC Copenhagen has appointed Belgian executive Nils Koppen as Head of Scouting and Recruitment for the first team, effective October 21, 2025. He will lead the club’s scouting department and report directly to Technical Director Andreas Hintze Rocks.

Koppen, 40, joins from Rangers FC in Glasgow, where he most recently served as technical director. He previously held senior positions at PSV Eindhoven and KRC Genk. His extensive experience in various high-performance environments positions him as a key player in FC Copenhagen’s future.
