FC Midtjylland will offer complimentary tickets for children aged 12 and under to the Danish Cup final at Parken, provided the child ticket is purchased together with an adult ticket. The club says the move is meant to give more families a chance to experience one of the biggest days in Danish football, when FC Midtjylland faces FC Copenhagen on Ascension Day.
Supporting Families and Youth Engagement
The initiative is tied to the club’s roots and long-running work with youth across the region. Since its founding in 1999, FC Midtjylland has built on a strong local base and cooperation with 136 partner clubs across Central and Western Jutland. The club also noted today’s rising living costs and said it wants to make it easier for families to join the trip to the capital.
FC Midtjylland has been allocated 16,487 tickets for the final. Season-ticket holders and BilletFlex holders have presale access from Wednesday, March 25 at 14:00. Sponsors will receive separate information directly. Ticket sales open to the general public on Friday, March 27 at 10:00.
Fans can buy match-only tickets or choose packages that include bus transport with pickup points across the region or train transport. The club will share more practical details as the event approaches, ensuring that all attendees are well-informed about their travel options and match-day experiences.
A large fan zone for FC Midtjylland supporters is also planned near Parken as a gathering point for fans traveling from Central and Western Jutland. This fan zone will provide a vibrant atmosphere for supporters to connect and celebrate. Further information on the fan zone will be announced closer to the match, allowing fans to plan their visit accordingly. The club’s commitment to enhancing the match-day experience for families and supporters is evident in these initiatives.
