Denmark has officially announced its squad for the highly anticipated European Youth Chess Championship, which is set to take place on the beautiful island of Crete from November 2 to November 13, 2026. This exciting event brings together some of the brightest young talents in chess from across Europe, and Denmark is ready to make its mark.

Denmark’s Young Chess Talent

The selection of the Danish squad was revealed on April 15 by the youth national coach, International Master (IM) Rasmus Skytte. The delegation will be expertly led by Woman FIDE Master (WFM) Shanne H. Jakobsen and IM Rasmus Skytte, both of whom have extensive experience in coaching and competitive play.
