FC Midtjylland finished the 2025/26 season with record-breaking support at MCH Arena, setting new highs both overall and for individual matches. The club’s average crowd across home games reached 10,154, a new record and an increase of 112 spectators per match compared with last season’s best. Attendance also rose noticeably in lower-profile fixtures, with those games climbing from an average of 8,527 to 9,169.
Impressive Attendance in the 3F Superliga
In the Danish 3F Superliga, FC Midtjylland posted the third-highest average attendance this season. Among clubs that also competed in the top flight in 2024/25, only Midtjylland and Sønderjyske registered year-over-year growth. A new single-game high at MCH Arena was set when 12,032 fans attended the Championship Round meeting with AGF. Season-ticket holders continued to turn out in force, recording a 91.4% attendance rate.
European nights also set new benchmarks. Midtjylland averaged 9,013 spectators for continental home matches, the highest European average in the club’s history. The European single-game record was broken twice, first against Celtic with 10,387 fans and then against Nottingham Forest with 10,554. Due to UEFA regulations, capacity for European fixtures at MCH Arena is limited to 10,647; the round-of-16 match against Nottingham Forest fell fewer than 100 short of that figure, equating to 99% occupancy.
In total, the club staged 27 home matches this season and reported consistently strong support throughout. The commitment from fans has been a significant factor in the success of FC Midtjylland, demonstrating the passionate community that surrounds this club. Such enthusiastic attendance not only boosts team morale but also enhances the matchday experience, making every game at MCH Arena a memorable event for supporters and players alike.
