Vegas trailed by two when Stone started the surge 19 seconds into the second period with a power-play goal to make it 3-1. He later set up Tomas Hertl for the go-ahead goal at 8:21 of the third period, putting the Golden Knights ahead 4-3 before they closed out the win.
The victory gives Vegas a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series, with a chance to eliminate Colorado at home in Game 4 on Tuesday.
