Sønderjyske U14 football team impresses with a fourth-place finish at the Maisel Cup in Bayreuth

Sønderjyske Fodbold/HFK’s U14 team has returned from the international Maisel Cup in Bayreuth with a strong set of performances and valuable experience. The players showcased their skills against some of the best academies in the tournament, which provided an excellent platform for development.

Tournament Highlights and Key Results

The side opened with a draw against the academy team from Brighton & Hove Albion and followed up with another tie against the hosts from Bayreuth after a late decision leveled the match. The first win arrived against Columbus Crew, with the Danish team protecting a narrow lead to the end. Across the tournament, Sønderjyske collected 15 points from nine games, scoring 14 and conceding 10, which secured fourth place in a highly competitive field.
