file-31

Wessel Nijman has set the pace on the 2026 PDC ProTour. The Dutchman has collected six titles from the first 24 events, including wins at the ELTEN Safety Shoes European Darts Trophy in Göttingen and Players Championship 12 in Milton Keynes. That run has taken him to the top of the ProTour Order of Merit on £267,000. Even so, the list of winners this season stretches well beyond one standout performer.

New Talents Shine in the 2026 ProTour

Several players have broken new ground this season. Beau Greaves made history at Players Championship 11 in Milton Keynes as the first woman to win a ProTour event. Kevin Doets secured his first ProTour title at Players Championship 13 in Hildesheim after earlier deep runs on the Winamax PDC European Tour. Andrew Gilding, the 2023 UK Open champion, claimed his first title on the floor at Players Championship 16. Luke Woodhouse added his name to the roll of first-time winners at Players Championship 18 in Leicester, then backed it up 12 days later with his maiden European Tour crown at the ELTEN Safety Shoes Baltic Sea Darts Open.

Kiel delivered the backdrop for Woodhouse’s European breakthrough, with close to 14,000 fans packing the MERKUR Ostseehalle across the event. The tournament produced 424 legs and 178 maximums, underscoring the high standard on show.

As June approaches, there are five more ProTour events on the horizon: four Players Championship tournaments and the Slovak Darts Open. The European Tour will make its debut in Slovakia, with Bratislava set to host the exciting competition.

On the wider European Tour, six tournaments have been completed in 2026 and six different players have lifted titles so far, from Krakow to Riesa. This season showcases a vibrant mix of established stars and emerging talents, making the PDC ProTour more competitive than ever.
