AGF travel to Belgium for training camp and friendly against Union Saint-Gilloise

AGF’s Superliga squad is set to enhance its pre-season preparations by shifting training to Belgium for a few days, starting Thursday. The team will utilize the Royal Belgian FA’s Proximus Basecamp in Tubize, located just south of Brussels, to focus on their training regimen.

Training Sessions and Friendly Match Details

During this brief stay in Belgium, the squad plans to conduct a couple of training sessions at the facility. This training is essential as it leads up to their third warm-up match of the summer. The friendly match against Union Saint-Gilloise is scheduled for Saturday, 11 July at 14:00 and fans can catch the live action on AGF’s streaming platform.

It is worth noting that the training center will be closed to visitors, meaning that neither the training sessions nor the match will be accessible to the public. The friendly match has been structured to run over four periods of 30 minutes, allowing the coaching staff to assess player performance in different scenarios.

After their match in Belgium, the team will return to Aarhus late on Saturday to continue their training at Fredensvang. They will resume preparations on Monday, gearing up for their final pre-season friendly, which will take place on Wednesday, 15 July at 14:00 against AC Horsens. This match will also be available for live viewing on AGF’s platform, providing fans an opportunity to support their team from afar.

AGF’s strategic decision to train abroad underscores the club’s commitment to building a competitive squad ahead of the upcoming season. The intense training sessions combined with friendly matches are crucial in ensuring the team is well-prepared for the challenges that lie ahead in the Superliga.
