Dafa and AGF extend their partnership through 2029 to strengthen sports and the local community in Aarhus

DAFA has extended its long-running sponsorship of AGF for three more years and will remain a Gold Partner through the summer of 2029. The agreement continues a partnership rooted in Aarhus and built around long-term ties and local involvement.

Strengthening Community Ties through Sponsorship

The company describes the collaboration as more than a standard sponsorship, positioning it as support for the city, its community, and local business and sports life. DAFA has backed AGF for over 25 years and has been a Gold Partner since 2020. The renewed deal will also span a new phase for the club, with Aarhus’s new football stadium scheduled to open in spring 2027.

Founded in 1939 and headquartered in Brabrand near Aarhus, DAFA develops and manufactures specialized foam and rubber solutions for sectors including construction, industry, and wind energy. Its products are used for sealing, damping, and protection, such as gaskets, sealing tapes, and noise and vibration control components. DAFA Group employs about 350 people across three continents and eight countries, with production in Denmark, Italy, Poland, and China.

According to the company, the partnership strengthens visibility, networking, and local presence, and supports efforts to raise brand awareness in East Jutland, where competition for skilled workers is strong. The announcement was made on 24 August 2026, highlighting DAFA’s commitment to both AGF and the local community.

With this extended sponsorship, DAFA not only enhances its brand image but also reinforces its dedication to supporting local initiatives and fostering a strong community spirit in Aarhus.
