The Danish Football Association (DBU) chairman Jesper Møller recently attended a UEFA meeting where he expressed strong support for the organization’s approach towards FIFA. Concerns Over FIFA Leadership
Despite these assurances, Møller clarified that DBU’s stance on FIFA President Gianni Infantino remains unchanged. He conveyed that confidence in Infantino’s leadership has deteriorated, advocating for a shift towards new leadership within FIFA. Prior to receiving the assurances, UEFA had threatened to consider withdrawing from FIFA competitions, a move that Møller noted Denmark did not wish to pursue. With the guarantees now documented, Møller believes it is prudent to place the withdrawal option on hold for the time being. Nonetheless, he made it clear that if any serious new information surfaces regarding the ongoing issues, the option to withdraw should be reconsidered.

He called on those national associations that are equally concerned about Infantino’s leadership to publicly express their positions.
