Alexander Bublik delivered the month’s headline moment during the Hangzhou final, where he secured the opening set with a stunning second-serve ace. Throughout the week, Bublik struck an impressive total of 70 aces, holding serve in all 44 of his service games. His dominant serving played a crucial role in his successful campaign, ultimately leading him to clinch the tournament title.

Valentin Royer, who faced Bublik in that thrilling final, also demonstrated exceptional serving prowess at the ATP 250 event. In the quarter-finals, he fired consecutive aces to force a first-set tie-break. Royer capped off the tie-break with a commanding 7-0 score, delivering another unreturnable serve against Learner Tien, showcasing his ability to perform under pressure.

China’s Zhang Zhizhen made the shortlist as well, thanks to his high-pressure finish in a closely contested match. He saved a match point with a powerful ace, displaying remarkable composure in a tense moment. Following that, Zhang went right back to the same spot down the T to seal his victory over compatriot Buyunchaokete, further solidifying his place among the top servers of the month.
