Friends from Winnipeg follow Seth Jarvis to the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina

Friends of Carolina Hurricanes forward Seth Jarvis swapped a long road trip for an overseas journey to support him and Team Canada at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.

The group traveled from their hometown of Winnipeg to Milan with help from the airline, making good on a tradition of showing up for Jarvis at big moments. Last February, they drew attention by driving roughly 30 hours to Boston to watch Canada face the United States in the 4 Nations Face-Off Final.

Celebrating Team Canada at the Olympics

On Sunday, they were in the stands at Santagiulia Arena as Canada closed the preliminary round with a 10-2 win over France. After the game, they met up with Jarvis to celebrate the result.

To document their Olympic adventure, the friends launched an Instagram account under the handle “goodolcanadianboys.” On Monday, they spent time with Jarvis near the Duomo di Milano and invited Canadian skier Cassidy Gray to join them, a meetup later shared on Team Canada’s social media.

Gray had previously expressed interest in meeting Jarvis on TikTok. On Tuesday, she hung out with his friends, and the group laced up skates at the Hockey Canada Ice Palazzo rink to film goal-celebration clips for fans. She also appeared on the group’s Instagram story wearing a Jarvis Canada jersey with a playful caption.

Jarvis’ friends are expected back in the crowd on Wednesday when Canada faces Czechia in the quarterfinals at Santagiulia Arena. Their dedication not only showcases their support for Jarvis but also highlights the camaraderie and spirit of Canadian hockey fans. As the Olympics progress, fans can look forward to following their journey and cheering on Team Canada as they strive for gold.
