Organizers have unveiled the route for the 2025 GranPiemonte, marking the 109th edition of this prestigious cycling event. The race will cover a challenging distance of 179 kilometers, starting from Dogliani and culminating in Acqui Terme. Cyclists will navigate through the picturesque hills of the Langhe and Monferrato, known for their stunning landscapes and steep terrain.

Challenging Course for Aggressive Riders

The course is designed with numerous short, steep climbs that will test the endurance and skill of the riders. This challenging profile is tailored to favor aggressive cyclists and fast finishers who are adept at handling uphill efforts. As the GranPiemonte serves as a critical preparation event for many cyclists, it is expected to attract top talent and high competition levels.

A total of 20 teams are set to participate in this year’s race, including 13 teams from the UCI WorldTour. This showcases the significance of the GranPiemonte in the cycling calendar, particularly as it positions itself as a crucial final tune-up before Il Lombardia, which is widely regarded as the last Monument of the season.
