FC Midtjylland has opened applications for a full-time physiotherapist to join its academy setup, with primary responsibility for the U13–U15 age groups. The position sits within the club’s medical and performance department and works across disciplines including health, performance, nutrition, sport science, coaching, and talent development.

Key Responsibilities of the Physiotherapist Role

The role covers assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of academy players, as well as day-to-day support for the U13–U15 squads. Additionally, the physiotherapist will provide coverage for matches, training camps, and tournaments in Denmark and abroad. Duties also include planning and documentation related to player pathways, close collaboration with coaches and specialist staff, and contributions to structures and procedures that guide the academy’s health work. Additional tasks may extend across the club, including Guldminen, U17–U19, and, when needed, the first team.

Candidates must be qualified physiotherapists with an interest in football, talent development, and working with young athletes. The club is looking for someone who is relationship-oriented, organized, and self-driven, comfortable in a setting with many stakeholders, and able to contribute positively in a multidisciplinary team. Experience from elite sport, football, or youth work is considered an advantage but is not required.

The position offers a professional environment focused on development, learning, and quality, with collaboration across medical, performance, sport science, and football staff. FC Midtjylland highlights opportunities for professional and personal growth through mentoring and close leadership, as well as daily variety and the chance to work with highly rated youth players.

The successful candidate will report to Head of Academy Performance, Jeppe Qvist, and the club’s Head of Medical. The planned start date is July 1, 2026. Applications close on June 1, 2026, with interviews conducted on a rolling basis. The appointment will be made in collaboration between FysioDanmark Holstebro and FC Midtjylland.
