FC Copenhagen is gearing up for an exciting preseason as it kicks off with a friendly match against Swedish champions Mjällby AIF. Scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m., the game will take place at the Number 10 training center on pitch 3, offering fans a chance to witness the team’s preparations for the upcoming season. For those wanting to catch the action, free viewing is available from the path alongside K.B. Hallen.
Access and Viewing Information
However, spectators should be aware that access to the venue may be challenging this weekend due to ongoing roadworks. Peter Bangs Vej and possibly some adjacent streets will be closed, making it difficult for drivers. It is highly recommended to avoid driving and instead utilize public transport, such as the S-train to K.B. Hallen Station or Peter Bangs Vej Station. For those arriving on foot or by bicycle, the journey will be much smoother. If you must drive, you can approach the training ground via Roskildevej, but keep in mind that parking near the site is limited.
It’s important to note that spectators will not be able to enter the artificial-turf area during the match. Frederiksberg Municipality is currently undertaking a reconstruction of artificial pitches 3, 6, and 9, which are adjacent to the grass fields. This means that viewing from the fence between those pitches and grass pitch 3 is prohibited.
For those attending the match, Cafe Qvisten will be open on the KB grounds, providing refreshments and essential facilities, including toilets. Entry for spectators will be via the gate located behind one of the goals on pitch 3. Please remember that there will be no access through the double doors that lead to the Mjällby dressing rooms.
This match is just the beginning of a series of summer friendlies for FC Copenhagen. Fans who subscribe to the club app or hold season tickets will have the opportunity to follow the match and other summer games closely.
