The World No. 116 from France turned the match around with clever use of drop shots and resisted six of seven break points. The 1-hour, 53-minute win is his fourth career victory over a Top 50 opponent. Fresh off a Challenger final in Iasi and a quarterfinal showing in Umag last year, the 25-year-old earned his sixth tour-level win of the season and will face Luca Van Assche next.
