Esbjerg fB has finalized the coaching and support team for its girls’ academy ahead of the new season, reinforcing the club’s plan to develop homegrown talent for the first team through strong day-to-day training and a clear pathway.
Changes in Coaching Staff
The reshuffle includes the departure of four coaches from the girls’ program: Yasin Akdeniz, Jesper Grønborg, Oskar Harmsen, and Willy Bjerg. The club credits them with key contributions to player development and for laying foundations during the academy’s early years.
EfB states that the academy will continue to focus on a high-quality, professional, and safe environment that balances player welfare with individual progression. Continuous coach education, knowledge-sharing, and practical development are intended to strengthen the training culture and support players in reaching their potential.
