Levy Nene loaned to FC Lausanne-Sport for the rest of the season

FC Nordsjælland has sent 20-year-old Ivorian forward Levy Nene on loan to FC Lausanne-Sport for the remainder of the season in the Swiss Super League. The agreement was announced on August 29, 2026.

Levy Nene’s Journey in Professional Football

Nene joined Nordsjælland in the summer of 2024 from the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana and made his Superliga debut as a substitute against AaB on July 19, 2024. He has made 48 appearances in all competitions for the Danish club, scoring 12 goals, and has since earned his first cap for Ivory Coast’s U23 national team.

According to the club, strong competition for attacking places this season has limited his opportunities, and a loan move was considered the best route to regular playing time. Several clubs showed interest, and the Lausanne-Sport deal was completed with the expectation that Nene will gain minutes at a high level.

Nene is understood to be eager for the new challenge after two formative years in Farum and intends to maintain his focus and build on his potential during the loan spell. Nordsjælland plans to track his progress throughout the season, ensuring that he continues to develop as a player.

This loan is a significant step in Nene’s career, allowing him to gain valuable experience in a competitive league. Football fans and analysts alike will be watching closely to see how the young forward adapts to his new environment and capitalizes on this opportunity to shine.
