Noah and David Manata extend their contracts with the club until 2029

Twin brothers Noah and David Manata have extended their academy contracts with OB, keeping them at the club until June 2029. This exciting development signifies the club’s commitment to nurturing homegrown talent and highlights the brothers’ potential in the world of football.

Progression Through the Ranks

The pair joined OB as U13 players from partner club Sanderum Boldklub and have made remarkable strides through the academy ranks. Club staff view them as exciting, decisive talents with distinct strengths and a strong on-field understanding developed over years of playing together. Their journey through the academy showcases not just their individual skills but also their ability to work as a cohesive unit on the field.

Noah primarily operates as an attacking midfielder. He is effective in central areas, strong in tight spaces, and adept at beating defenders one-on-one. His performances have been pivotal, contributing crucial goals, and he earned a national team call-up in the spring. Recently, he has trained with the first team and has been named on the bench for several 3F Superliga matches this season. Noah sees the new deal as an important personal milestone and a continuation of his development at the club.

On the other hand, David plays mainly as a winger, starting wide and utilizing his one-on-one ability to create chances and score. Despite being limited recently by injuries, including groin and hamstring issues, David remains determined to return to full fitness. He is focused on building momentum with a sustained run of games. He views the extension as a sign of the club’s belief in him and a chance to keep growing in a familiar environment.

OB’s academy leadership is particularly enthusiastic about the brothers’ complementary skill sets and their capacity to influence games. Their ability to find each other on the pitch is a testament to their years of collaboration and shared experiences in football.

Both contracts now run until June 2029, marking a significant chapter in the ongoing development of these promising young talents at OB.
