Silkeborg IF heads to Haderslev on Sunday for its next Danish Superliga match against Sønderjyske, looking to build on a 4-0 away win at Lyngby. Sønderjyske sits at the bottom of the table with one victory this season, earned in its most recent home game, a 4-2 result against Randers.
Match Preview: Silkeborg IF vs. Sønderjyske
Both clubs changed head coaches over the summer after long tenures by their predecessors. Under Morten Dahm Kjærgaard, Silkeborg has collected 11 points and is currently in seventh place. The team has not lost since an away defeat at Brøndby in late August, showcasing a strong performance in recent weeks. On the other hand, Sønderjyske won the previous two meetings between the sides, which adds an interesting twist to this upcoming match.
As the teams prepare to clash, the stakes are high for Sønderjyske, who are looking to improve their position in the league. Despite their struggles this season, the recent win against Randers could provide a much-needed confidence boost.
