file-79

Sønderjyske Fodbold has introduced an innovative compensation scheme aimed at rewarding its partner clubs for their role in developing players who eventually join the first team. This initiative is designed to acknowledge the invaluable contributions made by coaches, leaders, and volunteers who dedicate their time and effort to nurturing young talent throughout the region.

Supporting Grassroots Football Development

The initiative reflects Sønderjyske Fodbold’s strong commitment to giving back to local associations and enhancing the grassroots efforts that are essential for fostering future first-team players. By recognizing the hard work of these clubs, the program not only provides financial support but also motivates them to continue their development programs.

During the recent final match of the 3F Superliga, the club awarded checks totaling over DKK 100,000 to various partner clubs whose former players have made their debut for the first team since the launch of this scheme in the summer of 2023. The amount awarded to each club is determined by the duration and timing of the player’s involvement with the partner club, emphasizing the importance of early talent development.

The following clubs were recognized, along with the amounts they received:

  • Starup UIF: DKK 20,000 (Tobias Sommer)
  • Dybbøl IU: DKK 4,500 (Sebastian Larsen)
  • Egen UI: DKK 7,500 (Elias Hjort-Pedersen)
  • Haderslev Fodboldklub: DKK 40,000 (Tobias Sommer, Olti Hyseni, Anders Hoeg)
  • FC Sønderborg: DKK 9,500 (Albert Rrahmani, Sebastian Larsen)
  • Sønderborg Boldklub: DKK 39,000 (Olti Hyseni, Sebastian Larsen, Albert Rrahmani, Elias Hjort-Pedersen)

Sønderjyske Fodbold intends to continue these presentations every season at the final home match, reinforcing their dedication to supporting grassroots football and the development of future stars. This initiative not only showcases the club’s appreciation for its partners but also strengthens the bond between professional football and local communities, ensuring that the future of the sport remains bright.
