Denmark’s men’s national team is set to host Wales in an exciting Nations League match at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen on Sunday, 27 September. The match will kick off at 18:00, and in a groundbreaking initiative, the Danish Football Association is launching its first-ever children’s fanzone for a men’s international match.
Family-Friendly Event at Parken Stadium
The earlier kickoff time, scheduled for a Sunday evening instead of the usual 20:45, aims to make the event more accessible for families. To enhance the experience, organizers have reserved extra children’s tickets, encouraging many young supporters to experience their very first national-team match in the vibrant stadium atmosphere.
The children’s fanzone will open in the morning, providing several hours of fun activities before the big game. The day will kick off with the DBU Football School activity course, which will have separate sessions tailored for children aged 5–7 and 8–12. Registration is required for participation, and further details will be announced as the match date approaches.
As the day progresses, children can look forward to a variety of entertaining activities including a singalong with Hr. Skæg, a lively children’s disco, and an engaging stop-dance session with Hutli. These activities will continue until 14:30, when the general fanzone program takes over with exciting football bingo and live music from Danmarks Band. The fanzone will close at 17:00, just in time for the 18:00 kickoff of the match between Denmark and Wales.
